Introduction
This lecture provides an in-depth exploration of practical aspects of insurance product planning and development.
It explains the background and planning process for each product and covers key considerations such as profitability and hedging strategies that must be addressed during the actual product planning stage. Additionally, participants will gain an understanding of the fundamental structures of various life insurance and long-term non-life insurance products, as well as special account products like variable insurance and equity-linked products. The course will also analyze unique product structures, including no/low surrender value insurance.
Furthermore, the lecture will examine actual consumer needs that have emerged in the Korean market and the corresponding development and evolution of various insurance products. It will also provide insights into risk rate development methodologies. This course will offer practical insights for those interested in insurance product planning and development.
