ADS Consulting AWLC Course Program

The ADS Consulting AWLC Course Certification Program is part of a top-tier training program, providing in-depth knowledge of IFRS17 standards as applied to insurance and professional knowledge of actuarial practices in the insurance industry. This AWLC Course Certification Program covers the key requirements and practical tasks to support IFRS17, including the organizational and financial impacts that may arise from adopting IFRS17.

This certification program is aimed at undergraduate and graduate students in accounting and actuarial science, individuals interested in accounting and actuarial fields, job seekers, and actuaries and related professionals working in international or multinational insurance companies.

By immersing yourself in the training program, you can learn new approaches, understand industry best practices, and apply practical solutions. Alternatively, you can review the lectures at your own pace through self-study, bridging knowledge gaps and advancing your career without obtaining the certification.

Through a systematic lecture system, you will acquire professional knowledge and receive practical training to address the impacts on organization, finance, and reporting. This course is applicable regardless of whether your organization is preparing for or implementing IFRS17. You will practice the methods and concepts learned from expert lectures through real-life examples and applications to understand the changes in reporting and their impacts. Successfully passing the certification exam will earn you a certificate recognizing your practical skills and in-depth knowledge of quantitative techniques and regulatory/reporting requirements through real-world examples in the industry.

Level Selection

The ADS Consulting AWLC Course Certification Program has three levels. Each level requires different lectures, and the exam subjects, difficulty, and passing criteria vary accordingly. You can choose the level that suits your needs and proceed with the program.

  • ASSOCIATE: Average score of 80 / Minimum cut-off score of 75 per subject
  • EXPERT: Average score of 85 / Minimum cut-off score of 75 per subject

Final Assessment

To receive a certificate proving your understanding of the lectures, you must take and pass an online exam. Once you complete all the lectures in the AWLC Course Certification Program, the exam page will open for you to take the online certification exam. The passing criteria vary by level, with the FUNDAMENTALS level requiring an average score of 80 (with a minimum cut-off score of 70 per lecture) to determine pass or fail.

Participants who pass the exam will be awarded the AWLC Course FUNDAMENTALS certificate and a digital badge, certifying your basic knowledge in actuarial practice. One participant stated, “This program helped me understand the key aspects of IFRS17 (and other IFRS standards related to insurance business) in a formal and systematic way.”

This 60-day certification program combines e-learning, virtual seminars, and assessments to enhance your knowledge as a lifelong learner. By combining detailed course content and practical training, you will clearly understand the requirements to comply with when delivering and reporting insurance operations worldwide.
